07-31-10 - PROVISION - Video camera

I am happy to report that I am getting very close to meeting my "be ready for Anna Claire by August 1st" goal! (This is, of course, being ready in a physical sense, not necessarily in any other way!!) haha


Two days ago we had a nice dinner with Julie and Chris - She is a dear friend and I miss having her nearby.  Her living in Troy STINKS! :)  They bought us a sweet gift.  :)  I have so few real friends that I think I treasure my friendships more than ever before.

Oh, and again God has provided wonderfully for us - we found a FLIP video camera - HD - on clearance and had enough in gift returns to get it! Yay!

I think my baby girl is getting stronger.....she is kicking and for the first time, it actually hurts! :)

My feet are incredibly swollen today. Trying to decide if I should be good and put them up and bore myself silly in front of the television, or if I should go float in the pool on this beautiful day! I think I shall float!

Awesome Stuff God Has Done - Baby Shower at BBC

July 24, 2010: The most awesome baby shower EVER!!!  Got a tremendous amount of stuff, and STILL HAD $750 in returns!!!  Enough to buy EVERYTHING we didn't get!

Rachel made the little baby on top - she was so cute!  (They said she even had a sweet bare baby butt!)

Soooo many gifts - we are so blessed!

The flower arrangement was beautiful - the picture doesn't do it justice, of course.

Each of the tables (I think there were eight in all) had a large themed basket on it - "Meal Time", "Daddy Dirty Diaper Day", "Safety Time", "Playtime", etc.

But it was really the most incredible shower I've ever been to, and I was so very, very grateful for it.  We literally have EVERYTHING we need - and an incredible amount of sorting and organizing to do now!  Praise the Lord!  Now it's time for Anna Claire to come!!  (Well, maybe wait a couple more weeks so I can finish getting all this put away! haha)

So, I take it there is NO comfortable way to sleep when your belly is the size of a watermelon. Hence, FB at 3:25 a.m.

15 more work days until I start maternity leave. :) Hate to wish my life away, but being humongous and lethargic do not make me want to go to work. :) On a happier note, the little Sweet Bites at Krystals are a little taste of heaven. :D

Soooooooo excited about my sweet husband coming home today! Proud of the good work that our mission team did in Indiana! (I don't think that I have to worry about Andy becoming a full-time roofer though! :) haha)

I am absolutely THRILLED with the progress in my garage. Not finished, but boy did we take a giant leap forward today. Yes, I know - it's ridiculous that this nesting instinct spills over the garage! :)

Today we finished our new Wills, Healthcare Directives and Powers of Attorney. Morbid, but necessary in light of a little one on the way. :) Just glad I can do it myself and don't have to pay to get it done! :D

Today I enjoyed a nice rainy day with my hubby. Finally starting to feel better! Goal for tomorrow: finish organizing garage and buy paint for baby room projects!

I think one of the up sides of having this baby will be to be able to do things for myself again......like move heavy stuff in the garage to make way for organization. :( It's so frustrating to see a task that needs to be done, to have the time to do it, but not to have the ability to do it. So, I will continue to stare at my wreck of a garage.....
