3-30-13 - Easter Egg Drop

Hot day, but very fun for everyone!  Anna Claire got her face painted for the first time and it lasted about thirty seconds until she wiped it! :)  Love spending outside time with my special family!

You turn your back for a minute and she helps you "cook!"

My babies are sick tonight--especially Anna Claire and it rips my heart out to see her so pitiful. She fell asleep against me after vomiting and I carried her to bed. I love her so dearly and I hate to see her not feel happy and active. And it just came on her so suddenly too! :-( I am praying that God will heal both of them quickly--Junia is teething and has a nasty cough. :-(

My girls are so precious to me. Juliana's smile lights up a room, and melts this mamas heart! Love our sweet baby SOOOO much! Can't wait to get to know her--to see what her little personality will be like! Anna Claire is outgoing and friendly, will Juliana be the same, or quieter and more laid back? I just don't know and it's exciting to look forward to finding out!

She's got a nasty cough (again) and I feel so sorry for her. On top of that, I think she's working on the next set of teeth....poor baby. Still not sleeping through the night. :-( maybe one day!

Anna Claire is doing great! Such a precious little girl! She has such a loving nature--she will say "you okay, mama?" If she thinks you are hurt or upset, while touching your face....such a doll!

Today was her Easter party at "school" (Mother's Morning Out program at Ridgecrest Baptist).  It was a big deal to us because it was her very first real party!  We had to bring cookies and everything!  We even went to Publix before school to pick them out - she picked out some decorated Easter Egg sugar cookies.  Such sweet time together!

And of course, we had to wear our "pitty (pretty) bunny dress!"

Tonight we met the Glucks at Chick-Fil-A. It's the first time we've seen them since they moved to Tennessee. Anna Claire and Ian play so well together! I miss that interaction for her.

Tonight Anna Claire asked to hold Junia for the first time---of course it didn't last long, but I was surprised! She also brought me a diaper on her own initiative--just to be helpful!

Juliana had a big couple of days! She doesn't realize it of course! :-)

Yesterday after church we went for a walk because it was BEAUTIFUL weather! First real springlike day this year and we hated to be inside! Walked to the park to let Anna Claire play and even Juliana got to go down the slide for the first time with her daddy!

She had no reaction of course, but it won't be long and she surely will!!

Then today I introduced her to rice cereal for the first time--she did great with the spoon--I was very pleased! We are hoping that it will help her start sleeping through the night....she's STILL waking up once or twice every night....I'm soooo perpetually tired. :-(. Love that baby though!

Just like Anna Claire before her, Juliana gets so much attention at church! Those big girls just "ooh" and "ahh" over her every time we are there!  Today Laura Kate Wilson, Megan Stewart and Anna Grace O'Bryan were playing with her....
