Eliza weighs 19 lbs 10 oz
Baby Liza had a 103.6° fever today so I jumped in the car and took her straight to the doctor. Did not have ear infection or a urinary tract infection, so the doctor thinks it is a fever virus. I will admit that it unnerves me for it to be just some random unnamed virus that can produce such a high fever. :-( This morning she is much better already, but I anticipate that her fever may spike again tonight.
Because my memory is wretched, and because these moments are too precious to forget. A safe place for me to record exciting times, my personal thoughts about life and what God is teaching me!

Baby Eliza got her second tooth in--looking at her, it's the bottom right tooth. Took forever to come in but finally it's here!! Love my baby girl!

Well today marks the last day of Anna Claire's first week of school. I think it was extremely successful! I had really dreaded trying to get them into a new schedule, especially since that schedule wouldn't tail going to bed two hours earlier than they are accustomed to, but it really has been a blessing for the whole family! Then going to bed at 8 o'clock allows me and Andy to have a little personal time by ourselves and with each other, which is absolutely amazing since that hasn't happened since before we had children!
It's been tough for getting them to eat breakfast though, I've tried five different things this week and I only met with mediocre success on any of it. My girls just like to get up in the lounge for an hour or so before eating. I assume that they will adjust as needed, but it hasn't kicked in yet. :-)
This week Anna Claire learned her very first memory verse ever, Genesis 1:1, and we have enjoyed working with her in the evenings on it. Last night we called all the grandparents and let her show off her new knowledge to much applause!
I am very proud that she is learning memory verses. I feel guilty that I have not worked with her on that before. I think I expect too little of her sometimes, and I think of her too much as a baby. The school having higher expectations on her encourages me to expect more also. I have no doubt that she can prove herself to all of us! She is such a little smarty!
On a different note, Eliza got her ears pierced today! Of our three girls, she was absolutely the best baby about it (Anna Claire being the worst! Hahaha!)! She didn't cry but for maybe three seconds. Then she started smiling again! What a great girl! And how pretty she is with her new earrings! :-)

Juliana has learned to jump! She's not really great at it yet, but she's so cute trying to "Get some air." Her feet barely leave the ground, and half the time they don't make it that far. But she is so proud of herself! I could barely get her across the parking lot with me today because she wanted to hop all the way! Ha ha!

Had a great time at Kids Camp! What a blessing to our family! Anna Claire absolutely thrived on being with so many "big kids" and getting so much attention! Juliana is more reserved, but she did seem to enjoy herself more and more as the week progressed.
Both the big girls attached themselves to Phillip Hunter--calling him Pawpaw. He won them over in an instant by riding them on the mule....they loved it!
The guy who did the music this year was Stephen Williams. He and his wife Christy were very nice and Anna Claire and their 3 year old daughter Hannah are bonded for life, I think. ;-) haha!
Juliana even enjoyed playing with her and her big sister Madie. :-) They were both sweet girls. Have to make time to have a play date soon.
Ac said so many funny things--
She said her belly hurt.
Me: "Want some tea?
AC: No. My belly doesn't want tea.
Me: What does your belly want?
AC: Ummm....my belly wants a Popsicle!"
Hahaha!
Another time the counselors came in and threw candy to the campers---who were instructed to put it under their seats until it was time to leave. Anna Claire decided to be a commando and crawl military style underneath the chairs sneaking candy from the campers!
Another time Anna Claire and Juliana were in the double stroller next to each other and Anna Claire said to Juliana, "You're my best friend." And Juliana said "uh huh." (as in yes) So precious!
