Because my memory is wretched, and because these moments are too precious to forget. A safe place for me to record exciting times, my personal thoughts about life and what God is teaching me!

Mrs. Sue McNeal came to me and told me that after church today Anna Claire came to her (she was sitting several rows behind Andy and Anna Claire), and she said to her "I wrote you a letter! Mrs. Sue opened it and Anna Claire ran off. It was a lot of letter "A's" all over an offering envelope. Mrs. Sue went back to Anna Claire and said, "Well, tell me what does it say?" And Anna Claire said, "It says I love you." :-) Mrs. Sue said that she will keep it forever and that it was a precious memory to her! She said that it just warmed her heart so much that Anna Claire had noticed her.

Anna Claire made me smile so big! She stayed late at church with her Daddy at a youth event tonight, and when she got home and saw me she threw her arms around me and said "Mommy, I've been missing you!" My heart was just so full it could have burst :-) Love that girl so very much!

My girls love to go to Petsmart to get a fish and then play with the animals! They love seeing the iguanas, cats and even the birds too!
Anna Claire is even learning the names of the kinds of fish--I almost fell out of my seat when she called our fish the "opine gormi" (opaline gourami)! So impressed that she remembered!!!

Anna Claire's first circus! She loved it....even though she tried to chew on her glow bracelet and made the goop escape and it gagged her and she threw up all over herself and Daddy! That was before it even started!

So funny! We were at Petsmart getting any fish and as we went to the building someone walked out with the dog on a leash. Anna Claire doesn't meet a stranger so she HAD to ask the dogs name and see if it was a girl and so on. Then she remarked to the owner, "we don't have puppies, we have sisters!" It was so funny because of the obvious disdain in her voice. As though puppies would be an improvement some days! Ha ha!
Juliana is learning and growing so much! It's amazing how much they change from 18 months to two years. Vocabulary increases daily and sometimes I think her temper does as well! She loves to scream - happy screams and angry screams! It's enough to drive you batty sometimes. :-)

My girlies have such distinct and wonderful personalities!
Picked Juliana up from school today and her teacher warns me that she did bite Anna Claire....."but" she says, "she had kind of had it...." Anna Claire had pestered her to the breaking point. :-) This is the second time it's happened and I don't know what to do about it. At some point Anna Claire HAS to learn to respect her, and Juliana has no other real means of self defense to MAKE her understand to back off.....
Anna Claire is doing fabulous in school! Loves it so much! Is learning her memory verses like a champ! We got her (and the family) an aquarium for her birthday and every time she learns a new one she excitedly says, "I get a new fish?"
She got to spend Labor Day weekend with my parents which was her first weekend away without us and she loved it! I thought I would have no trouble letting her go, but I SQUALLED when I put her in moms car! Something about my baby going away without me just ripped my heart out! I'm tearing up just writing about it! But she had a great time and they can't wait to do it again!
Eliza is doing great--finally has two teeth, pulling up on everything, crawling everywhere--my sweet smiley baby! I could not love her more!! She is finally mostly sleeping through the night! Yay! Everyone agrees that she seems to have the most low key, easygoing disposition of all my girls. :-)
Andy is doing well--considering a part time position as a music teacher or an hour a day---excited to see if it works out!
