Because my memory is wretched, and because these moments are too precious to forget. A safe place for me to record exciting times, my personal thoughts about life and what God is teaching me!

2015 Christmas Recap
Every year we exchange ornaments based upon what is most significant for each member of the family that particular year. This year was tricky, but I think we nailed it. :-)
I didn't have an AHA moment or event, but the biggest thing for me that changed (in a good way) was that I got my little side cleaning jobs, which has SO HELPED out our family finances and allowed us to begin to have a little more freedom to enjoy life, and even paid for our family vacation to Disney in the spring of this year. I'm so grateful that God opened up this way for me to be able to contribute in a way that barely takes me away from my family!

Eliza is IN LOVE with her pacifier (her "Ninny"). Like, I dread already having to break her of it. It's a BAD, bad habit! So, nothing else I could imagine could compare to the bond this year between Eliza and her Ninny!
Anna Claire started some extracurricular activities this year for the first time - Ballet in the early spring and then started gymnastics in summertime onward. I couldn't decide between the two which was the most significant for her, so I ordered this handpainted ornament from Etsy, depicting her gymnastics on one side and ballet on the other. Beautiful!

Anna Claire made this in Kids Worship at church....

Juliana and Eliza made these cute little trees at Playpals. This is Juliana's.....

And eliza's.....she kept wanting to pull off the pom poms! (And Juliana CERTAINLY did not take kindly when she pulled off hers!!) haha!
Our annual family Hallmark Keepsake ornament. It's amazing to see how the girls have grown from year to year. Happens so quickly.....

Anna Claire made this in Sunday School. I've seen it on Pinterest and thought it was really cute!

Anna Claire went through a brief Tinkerbell phase, but Juliana has picked up the love and RAN WITH IT. She has loved Tinkerbell and all the Disney Fairies all year long! I wished I could find an ornament with Tinkerbell, Rosetta, Fawn, Silvermist and the rest of the fairy gang, but alas, I could not. But she loved it all the same!

Andy continues this year to watch his diet and workout faithfully (at least until Thanksgiving started to do him in, but he's jumping right back on the bandwagon now that the holidays are over). Hence Santa at the gym for him......

Anna Claire and Juliana made these on Wednesday night - they liked the glow pens! This is Juliana's....

And Anna Claire's.....

I thought Juliana deserved her own stocking this year, so I used the opportunity to practice my sewing skills! I am proud to say that I made this ALL BY MYSELF, and although it's a simple enough accomplishment, I am still pleased. Lauren Malphurs monogrammed it for me and I think it turned out perfect for my Minnie Mouse-loving girl!
I've wanted to make these for forever - salt dough handprint ornaments. They were a great little activity with the girls, although I will admit that I repainted over my mistakes several times before I was satisfied! Cute!
I found this cute stocking for ONE DOLLAR at Kids Market this year and couldn't pass it up! It originally said "Emily" on it, but my wonderful Aunt Carol was nice enough to re-monogram it for Anna Claire! She loves it! She has another beautiful red and white embroidered stocking that my Granny Martha made her, but this was one was cutesy and fun for a five year old!
Boy, this was a job! Me and Anna Claire had to restart this project THREE TIMES because Eliza kept sabotaging it! We would do the handprints, walk away to wash up and when we came back TWICE in a row, Eliza had found paint and rubbed it all over our canvas! ACK! The third time I put it up SUPER HIGH on the bookshelf to keep the little rascal out of it! I think it turned out really, really pretty, although pics never do anything justice! I intend to frame it.....

The girls got to see a hedgehog today at the library! Juliana was scared of it because it hissed! Haha! Anna Claire was fearless (as usual), although she wasn't a big fan of his prickly "spikes"

Eliza peepee'd in the potty by herself today for the very first time! She has been wanting for the past couple of days to take her pants and diaper off and run around in panties like the big girls. I haven't thought too much of it, but apparently she is serious about getting out of diapers! :-) I don't know that I'm ready for potty training yet, but she certainly is!

Gave Juliana an enema - not the most fun I've ever had. Huge result. Gotta do it again tomorrow. Dreading it already. I'm sure the neighbors thought it was a exorcism......

Just heard a girl get up from nap and I walked to the hall ready to chew on her and tell her to get back to bed and it was Juliana up to potty! She has NEVER gotten up to potty during nap--she just pees in her panties when she sleeps if she has to go. So happy! Praised her big time and she kissed me so sweetly.....just shows I need to make sure I don't jump to conclusions and be responsive to what is actually happening.....sweet Juliana.

Today Anna Claire met a friend at McDonald's at the playground. She brought them over and said mommy this is my friend! I said what your friends name? She said she asked him what your name and he said his name was Elijah. I said oh, you have a Bible name Elijah is in the Bible. Anna Claire turn to him so excited and said, "You're in the Bible!"
Juliana and Jace are still best friends. They fight but then they hug and kiss often also. Me and Candice don't think anything about it and just let them do what they're going to do. :-) It's innocent and sweet at this age. They go to play pounds together also, but I don't think the teachers know that they play together as often as they do in that they go to church together. She calls her teachers her buddies and today she said angrily, buddies tell me know kiss Jace!
Eliza has a shoe fetish that beats both of her sisters, hands down! Andy said last night that he only thought Anna Claire like shoes until Eliza came along!
We have about decided that we are ready to have another baby. What a blessing they are to us, you never know if you will be able to have another are not, but we are ready to move forward to expand our family nonetheless. :-)

Nani and Pawpaw come to visit--we generally have a pattern--McDonald's for a cheese biscuit for breakfast, yard sales, play at home and pizza at David's for dinner. Mom was working with Anna Claire on a maze....

And dad was teaching Juliana how to blow straw paper out of her straw at people!

Which she loved!

Fun day--just normal stuff, but fun all the same!
Juliana and Jace--best friends at Playpals.

Juliana hasn't given me a moments trouble about going in to Playpals since Eliza moved into her class---she wants to be the big sister and "make sure baby Liza is okay"....and she does! Puts her arm around her and tells her it's ok--so sweet!
Tonight I had some one on one time with Eliza while the big girls went to exercise with daddy--we played with these magnets for like, an hour. She's so rotten and full of personality! She's loves to call "bawpaw" (say it really fast) on FaceTime, so we did. She hammed it up, as usual. :-)

Daddy got home and got some Juliana lovin--when she is sweet, she is sooooo sweet!

Anna Claire is a little artist these days--she is drawing and coloring all the time! She's really into hearts right now....

Tomorrow is "mommy day"---Fridays during school, I take her by herself to get a "cheese bikkit" (bacon, egg and cheese biscuit) from McDonald's and then take her to school. She loves the one on one time. Sometimes we listen to kids music and sing!

Juliana has just this week started to call Anna Claire by her name instead of strictly calling her "sissy". She sometimes will say "Anna key-er" and it is so cute! She is so mischievous and has learned how to pester quite well from her big sister and daddy!! Not sure Anna Claire enjoys BEING pestered as much as she enjoys pestering others! Haha!!
Eliza gets attention everywhere we go! She grins and says "bye!" And waves at everyone, so everyone is always talking to her. Sometimes I have to say, "come on miss America!!"
On our way today to Jacksonville to see Mama Betty in the hospital. She's been sick for a week so far with pancreatitis. We are ready for her to be well.....we have a trip to Disney to be ready for in September with her! She is so special to our entire family.

Tonight was one of those precious nights that I want to remember forever. Anna claire said to me, "mama--I want to love on you while the sisters take a shower--I didn't get to love on you enough today." So we did! And she wanted to pick and movie for just her and I to watch together, so we did. We watched tinkerbell and the great fairy escape--or at least a good bit of it. She so filled my love tank!! Precious girl!
Then, Eliza was in rare form--she sat in between me and Anna Claire and juliana on the other side of her--she would say "shissy" (Sissy) and pat Anna Claire and then say shissy and pat juliana. Back and forth and back and forth. Like she was just so proud to be sitting with the big girls--smiling away!!
Juliana is talking amazingly well--I'm just amazed--she's so different from Anna Claire and so precious and wonderful in her own right. She wants to do everything sissy does though--she keeps telling me, "when I get big, I go gymnastics!"
She JUST called Anna Claire by her real name and not sissy for the first time yesterday! "Anna key-er" so cute!!
They are growing way too fast but I am loving every second of it!

Mama--will you roll the windows down?
Why?
Because everyone else wants to hear our music. (VBS music)

Had an absolutely wonderful time cuddling with my Juniabelle tonight. It's so hard with three close together to get the time alone with each to make them know how very much they each are loved and how special they truly are. It makes the alone time all the more precious! So tonight Juliana and I watched the Incredibles (or Doot Doot as Anna Claire used to call it!) and cuddled and I got to love on her. She's getting so big and is so spunky. Here's a picture of her in her boots that she JUST HAD to wear yesterday!

Isn't she just beautiful!

AC: "mama--when I was boring (a baby), God gave me to you."
Ac: mama when is Jesus coming back?
Me: we don't know exactly honey, we just have to be ready. Are you ready for Jesus to come back?
AC: Uh, huh.
Me: You are? What did you do to be ready?
AC: I am ready to go see my fancy house he is making for me."

Anna Claire got her very own library card today!

My Junabelle was so sweet today! She woke up pleasant this morning and again this afternoon! Then tonight, I sat down with the two big girls to watch The Incredibles before bed and she laid against my belly for a while--then sat up and said (through her fingers still pressed in her little mouth) "mama--you my friend. I love you." It was so sweet and so sincere that I was absolutely on cloud nine. So precious those moments!
Eliza is getting her bottom molars in--they are just about to cut through and she's a grouchy little rascal! Still cute as a button though! She gets constant attention when we are out--her little grin and curly red hair are irresistible!
I asked Anna Claire tonight - "what does Daddy call you?" She said "Anna Claire Bear." I followed up: "why does he call you that?" She answered, "because it's my special name." She really gets it sometimes! She has a tender spirit and hates to upset us--she breaks easily and wants to please. All three are precious gifts from God.
