Anna Claire got her very own library card today!


My Junabelle was so sweet today! She woke up pleasant this morning and again this afternoon! Then tonight, I sat down with the two big girls to watch The Incredibles before bed and she laid against my belly for a while--then sat up and said (through her fingers still pressed in her little mouth) "mama--you my friend. I love you." It was so sweet and so sincere that I was absolutely on cloud nine. So precious those moments!

Eliza is getting her bottom molars in--they are just about to cut through and she's a grouchy little rascal! Still cute as a button though! She gets constant attention when we are out--her little grin and curly red hair are irresistible!

I asked Anna Claire tonight - "what does Daddy call you?" She said "Anna Claire Bear." I followed up: "why does he call you that?" She answered, "because it's my special name." She really gets it sometimes! She has a tender spirit and hates to upset us--she breaks easily and wants to please. All three are precious gifts from God.

Anna claire tried gymnastics tonight for the first time---she LOVED IT!!! I thoroughly enjoyed watching her sell out to every exercise they introduced to her---the instructor said she loved her enthusiastic attitude! So fun! She kept saying afterward--"I'm SO excited!!"

Today was Anna Claire's last day of school and also her end of the year program. She got a special part, Little Bo Peep and did great on her lines! We practiced and practiced and she came through like a champ! Her homemade costume was pretty cute too if I say so myself! :-)

Anna Claire had a great time at field day today! She's so outgoing and friendly! She's had a bit of an internal crisis lately though--thinking she can only be "best" friends with one person at a time....I tried to explain but I don't think it clicked. She was genuinely upset that she couldn't be best friends with Abbi AND Allie Claire!

Today it was Allie claire....




I liked this one because she had just seen me arrive and was saying, "look that's my mommy!" (With such pride....I love it! I know she probably won't always be so happy to see me.)

Eliza is notorious for standing up in her high chair. She does it at every meal and we are constantly scolding her, "sit DOWN!" And generally she will comply.....

Today I look at her and start to say "SIT!" And she plops back on her bottom and just grins at me....she knows EXACTLY what she is doing! Rotten baby!

Fun day at Anna Claire's K4 end of the school year party! Neither girl with the big girls got a nap and they were so exhausted when it was over! I was ready to scream before they hit the sack, but it was worth it to see how much fun they had at the party!









Eliza is really growing and changing. I guess children always are,? :-) She can say several words, mama, da da, night night (ny ny), bye-bye, uh uh (no, while shaking head). She's highhhhh drama--gets her feelings hurt very easily--absolutely hates to be told no! But she attracts friends everywhere she goes and never lacks for attention! She flashes that mischievous smile and she has you hooked! She's more affectionate than the others were at this age--Anna Claire was always too busy as a baby and it just wasn't Juliana's personality.

Speaking of Juliana-- she's doing amazing! She's talking like crazy--she says the funniest things and makes us laugh all the time! She and Anna Claire are playing together very well (mostly) and she also can be very sweet to eliza, although eliza is so sensitive that she gets upset too easily and that makes it hard for juliana to play with her. ;-) she's going through a phase where she wants to tell everyone to "stop it!!" In a very bossy voice, which is becoming annoying--but you certainly don't have to worry about her letting anyone run over her! She has the cutest little high voice--my dad calls it her bumblebee voice. She's really a precious girl and such a joy to our family.

Anna Claire is my loving girl--she gets up and wants to cuddle first thing. Love this time with her and all my babies.
