Eliza speech amazes me! She talks all the time. She calls herself "baby" or "lie-shush". So cute!

She identifies everyone in our family picture the other day--mommy, daddy, sissy, Juju, baby! Pointing at each one with her cute baby fingers. I love baby hands and feet. She's growing out of the baby stage so quickly!

Hilarious! Anna Claire kept getting up to tattle on Juliana - that she wouldn't go to sleep and that she was talking to her and wouldn't be quiet. I had given instructions that Anna Claire could pray for them before they went to sleep. I then heard Juliana scream out and my patience ran thin. I went into their bedroom with the intention of giving her a spanking, when Juliana exclaims at me, "I don't like Anna Claire praying!" Then Anna Claire says, "I was praying and she screamed and I just kept praying and praying!" I Thought it was hilarious!

Today was Character Day at school - the kids (and Ms. Craig too!) dressed up as a book character and they had a parade around the school facilities!  Fun time!  Anna Claire was Minnie Mouse.  Not exactly a classic book character, but hey, it works!  Matthew was Spiderman and Addy was Paw Patrol.  Kohen has an aversion to dressing up, so he is wearing his "This IS my costume" tee shirt.

1-9-16 - Upwards

Well, we are in week #2 of Upwards cheerleading.  Anna Claire is enjoying it - especially at the beginning where she gets to run out and be loud.  Not sure it will be her "thing" but it's fun to watch her!

Well as much as I hate to admit it, I let Anna Claire just rest and not sleep yesterday, and bedtime went much more smoothly. :-( So I'm guessing that we are done with consistent daily naps for her. :-( I guess it had to come eventually. :-) Ha ha
