Eliza hides when she is mad - all you have to do is tell her "no" or scold her very gently, and she will get mad and hide!  Then you can add insult to injury by saying in a sing-song voice, "I can still see you!" and she will REALLY pull away!!  (Not that we would pester that baby or anything!)

2-27-16 Florida Caverns

Super fun spontaneous family outing to the Florida Caverns in Marianna!

 Anna Claire was SOOOO much more up for the hiking than Juliana!!

The sweet flowers that Anna Claire picked me along the trail.  I never want to forget the little flowers that made them think of me.  I know one day there will be a "last flower" and they will be too old to pick me flowers any more......::tear:::

I got this puppy for Eliza at Kids Market and SHE LOVES IT!  Even though it is as big as she is, she wants to tote it around with her! HAH!

Mom just went home with the girls to Florida and I got this text a few minutes later. "We made it home 20 min ago. Dad is already saying the house is a wreck haha. :). " I texted her back saying he hadn't seen anything yet! LOL

She said Eliza walked in and said "wow look at all the stuff!" (Because she had put out the toys in advance for them to play with when they arrived. :-) That's so thoughtful of her. :-)

You never know what you will encounter on our evening walks.  Tonight we saw a big toad and the girls were FASCINATED.  Didn't want to touch it, mind you, but definitely interested!

2-20-16 - Upwards final game

Today was Anna Claire's last Upwards game this season.  I think she enjoyed the experience overall, but Mama and Daddy are glad its over!  She is growing increasingly bored during the course of the game and doesn't want to stay in place and cheer.  I think she might be too busy for it....maybe she should try basketball.  Haha!!  Anyway, she did enjoy it overall though - and was SUPER proud of her VERY FIRST TROPHY!!

 During the game today, they called her name with the rest of the cheerleaders and as she ran out, she tripped and BUSTED HER TAIL in front of everyone'!  She didn't think twice - just got up and ran out there with her squad!!  Since she wasn't hurt emotionally or physically, I felt freedom to laugh myself silly!  Got a GREAT video!

On the way to school this morning Anna Claire told me, "Mommy, God knew you needed a best friend so he gave you me." Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever!

Then we saw a billboard for Pat regarding this upcoming election, and I told her that used to be my boss. Then she told me that she didn't want me to have a boss she wanted me to just be her mommy. :-) I told her that's why I didn't work anymore was because I wanted to be able to be with her and be  a mommy. :-)

Ac cracks me up--she asked why Nani stays for a couple of weeks and when Pawpaw comes she only stays a day or so. I told her that we have church on sundays and pawpaw is ready to get home. She asked why--I told her he likes his routine and he's a homebody----she says what's a homebody. I told her it's someone who likes their home. But why mom?!!? Questions upon questions! Haha!

Juliana's Valentine party was today! She was excited about her minion tattoos that came with her valentines so we had to put one on both hands....then Anna Claire and Eliza had to have one too!

Girls could NOT keep their hands off stuff today at Dove Christian Supply, so I told them to put their hands behind their back--Eliza was so cute!

My girls looked so beautiful today for church! Pictures don't do them justice (especially since they didn't really WANT to stop and take a pic!). And it touched my heart seeing Anna Claire taking such good care of the two little sisters. They really do love one another.

Introduced Anna Claire to a classic tonight: original Nintendo!  It was an instant hit!!  (And it helps that Daddy and I still love this game system!)
