Isabella clapped tonight!  She was super excited to see her Daddy and was playing with him on the bed - off she went!  :-)  She really does ADORE her Daddy! (And has him wrapped tightly around that little chubby finger!)

Dr. Appt with Dr. Williams

AC 7 year checkup
Up 15 lbs and 3 inches since last year.  Watch portion control and preferably drink milk at meals, and avoid white sugar, flour and potatoes.  Not overly concerned about her weight, but definitely watch it and keep it under control.

Isabella - 18 lbs 11 oz. in 60% of growth for weight.  Looks great.  Got Prevnar immunization.

AC/J/I & E all negative for strep.

Eliza running 103 degree fever - has Bronchitis.

Juliana is loving school so far.  It's been a breeze for her - she even is adjusting to her morning routine well!  I couldn't be prouder!  So far she hasn't even had any behavioral issues, which ASTOUNDS me, considering how non-compliant she can be at times. LOL!

She sits at a table with Parker (a little boy) and Halo (a little girl).  She and Halo have become best buddies and they are so cute when I pick her up early and they have to give each other hugs!  Love it!

Today was Anna Claire's LAST DAY OF BEING SIX!  We had a good time together making cupcakes for her to take to her GA class at church tonight.  We made mario mushrooms and bowser shells!  I am certainly no cake artist, but it was fun dong it together and I think it was really special to her!  She came home and said EVERYONE LOVED HER CUPCAKES!  Some boy made a fuss over them because he liked mario also, and that tickled her.  Great memory!

Cool day - the Great American Eclipse 2017.  We thankfully were able to procure a couple pairs of eclipse viewing glasses, which were TOTALLY sold out two weeks ago.  I had NO IDEA that these things would be in such high demand!  Juliana made a cute eclipse craft at school today and Anna Claire and I worked on a National Park Service Junior Ranger Eclipse booklet that she can mail in and receive a badge to put on her Frontier Girls vest.  :-)

I thought we were going to miss the whole eclipse due to cloudcover, but thankfully the clouds parted long enough for us to get to view the eclipse at totality (for us - about 90 percent). Very cool. Much cooler in person than in a picture, like things of that nature always are.  Anna Claire was very excited, but then she was disappointed right afterwards because she thought it would be totally dark.  Ugh.  ::rolling eyes::  I think she will look back on it as a neat memory though.  Juliana even went outside to look at it.  She was like, "oooh, the moon!"

Afterwards we headed to a Tea party today to earn the Frontier Girls etiquette badge.

Anna Claire was baptized tonight. We are so proud!  She was super cute because she got out all drenched and said, "Mama, I'm so excited I got baptized!!"  Precious!

 It was so cool that our church is doing Facebook Live Streaming now, because Nani and PawPaw and Mama Betty and Papa Charlie could watch simultaneously as it was happening even though they couldn't be with us.  That was an AWESOME blessing!

Juliana started school today - it was kind of a half-day combined with Opening Day/Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies for BCA (Bethel Christian Academy).  She was super excited to meet her teacher and she didn't blink an eye to be left.  She was a little shy and apprehensive, but all smiles!

Today, after talking with Mrs. April at church last night, and wrestling with understanding everything, Anna Claire talked with her Daddy and prayed to Jesus and asked Him to save her.  She's been anxious about wanting to get baptized - she's been DYING to be baptized, but we haven't let her because she hadn't gone through the workbook that our church requires small children to do, so that we can be assured that they actually understand the decision they are making.  After talking with Mrs. April, we felt that NOT allowing her to move forward with baptism was taking it's toll on her and as Andy said, "placing a burden on her that she isn't ready to bear."  She wants to be obedient and we do not desire to prevent her from doing what she feels in her heart is right.  

We are rejoicing that God is drawing our sweet Anna Claire!  He is good to us!

Anna Claire and I watched a YouTube video on painting dandelions. It was a fun experience together.  She is going through a phase where she only wants to do Mario crafts, but she was quite proud of herself when we finished our projects!  It's good to stretch her a bit out of her routine - she's a good little crafty-girl!

Had a playdate with Autumn Clark at McDonalds today.  The girls were so sweet to Baby Bella.  Anna Claire had fun with Autumn too!
