Eliza is such a prisspot. She cracks me up! She wants to look cute ALL. THE. TIME. She was dressed to the nines last Wednesday night—in a fancy dress and shoes (on what is supposed to be a casual night) and we went to sign in and get her security yellow armband.....she says, “mama do I have to get that—I look much beautiful-ler without it....” she so funny!

Anna Claire got Andy good yesterday. He thought he would be smart and shoot her with a water gun from the shower.....well the girl went to the kitchen and got a full cup of ice and water and went in there, opened the shower door and slung that water all over him! He screamed like a girl and she laughed her head off!!!!

Bella is hilarious.  Completely unmanageable at times, but so funny.  She is addicted completely to Yo Gabba Gabba just like Anna Claire used to be.  She calls it "Doe Doe" (Yo Yo).  Andy will speak to Siri on his phone and say "Play Yo Gabba Gabba." She has observed him doing this, and then we watched her on another occasion pick his phone up and very bossily speak to it "DOE DOE!!!"  She wants Yo Gabba Gabba NOW!  LOL!

Kim kept the girls tonight while we had dinner together and did a little bit of Christmas shopping.  I am grateful for the time she spends with the girls.  She is a great spiritual influence on them.

National Peanut Festival: Anna Claire won 3rd place in the pumpkin decorating contest and 2nd place in the poster contest!  I was so proud!  She worked really hard - especially on her poster and I'm glad her work was rewarded. 

At the library, they had a book character pumpkin decorating contest as well - all three girls entered it and did a GREAT job!!  It was a popularity contest on Facebook, which annoyed the stew out of me because it doesn't take their effort into consideration.  Anna Claire won 3rd and so did Eliza in their respective age categories, but the awards mean little when its' just based on Facebook likes.  I was more proud of their effort - and Juliana's pumpkin was just as good as theirs was!  I hated to see her little heart hurt by not winning, because honestly hers really was just as good.  Next year she wants to enter the recipe contest in the peanut festival and I think she will enjoy that - she is my best kitchen helper!

Great time at trunk or treat tonight. The girls convinced andy to dress up and that was totally out of his comfort zone. That’s why I was so proud of him for doing it! He dressed up as solely from monsters Inc., I dressed up as a Renaissance ladies, Anna Claire was Cleopatra, Giuliana was ninja, Eliza was the cutest clothes ever in Bello was boo from monsters Inc. It all went well and good except for the fact that Villa absolutely hated Andy‘s mask! She wouldn’t let him near her with the mask on and she wasn’t thrilled about him even without it! It was funny to see her recoil from the mask! She said “no, daddy, no won you!”

We got two cats which has been the most fun ever! Bella is tormenting them though! Sometimes she wants to be nice but sometimes she kicks at them or picks them up by their necks! Ack!! Poor kitties! Even andy has enjoyed them. The second cat was actually his idea. I still can’t believe it.  I don’t know what kind of dark voodoo they used on him. We arrived to get one outside cat and came home with TWO inside ones!!!! 

Bella is talking up a storm. She is also a walking storm of destruction. She is extremely strong willed and likes to yell when things don’t go her way! She can be sweet and is so spunky and mischievous! We tease that she will get more spankings than anyone, even Juliana! She will demand her bottle (cup) with a particular spout on it, and isn’t happy with any other. Then she will say “ meelk” and if you give her juice she will band it back to you and say “I ownt wannit.”   So funny, but so stubborn!!

Eliza chatters away all the time also. We were in the car on the way to dance and she was asking me if I saw “that thing out the window with the letters.” Of course, with that description, I had no idea what she was talking about. She was frustrated and she said “mommy, you need to learn some fings !” Silly girl! I’m like, “Eliza you to learn how to use descriptive words if you want me to know what you are talking about!”

Anna Claire and Eliza both won 3rd place in their respective age categories for the library’s book character pumpkin decorating contest!

Also Anna Claire came in 3rd in the pumpkin decorating contest for the National Peanut festival! She was excited! She enjoyed making her space pumpkin and it was a new skill that I think she enjoyed trying out. It was hard for her to do the shading. She did well for a first time experience though: good try for sure and she was happy with it and that's all that matters.

They got SOOOO excited to see the peanut festival getting setup.......looking forward to going with them next week sometime.

Juliana Dr appt for six year old well visit. She was 3 feet 8 3/4 inches tall which is the 41st percentile. She was 44 pounds which was the 45th percentile for weight. Her blood pressure was 90/62. They thought she looked like she was doing great!

Per Diann Waller- at Sunday school we (Emerson, Bella, and Hadlee) were sticking our finger in cup to see if coffee was hot. Then blowing it. Pretend not real coffee

Anna Claire lost her first canine tooth today (left side).  I was pleased because according to the orthodontist, hopefully that will allow her front four teeth to have room to spread out until she gets older and is ready for braces.  Yay!

The funny part about the story is that the Tooth Fairy (i.e., Mom and Dad) forgot to leave money, but Anna Claire told me that she knew it was me, but she wanted to keep believing because it was fun and she wanted money.  So, I sat her tooth on the counter, because she knew already that it was me, so no big deal, right?  Wrong.  Juliana saw the tooth and said, "The Tooth Fairy left Anna Claire's tooth!"  I made an excuse that she must have accidentally dropped it, and the little stinker said, "I am going to put it under my pillow so I can get some money!!!"  I said, "Juliana - are you going to try to TRICK the Tooth Fairy?"  "She was like, "Yeah!  I'm going to see if she knows and gives me money!"  Rotten girl!

Last Wednesday night we had a back-to-school fun event for the kiddos with pizza, bouncy houses, etc.  There were several bouncy houses to choose from, but one was square and kind of resembled a closed in wrestling ring.  So, of course, that's what my Anna Claire used it for.  She was SO PROUD when Mrs. April saw her - Mrs. April said, "Anna Claire are you having a good time?" Anna Claire replied, "Yeah, I'm BEATING UP BOYS!!!!!"

Then she wanted April to come watch her, and sure enough she did a martial arts television-style circular wave of her hands by her face, then extended the one arm with hand palm-up ..... and used her fingers to say, "C'mon....." HILARIOUS.  I don't know how to word it better than that - but its the move you see on the Matrix when Neo learns to fight and he's challenging Morpheus.  I caNOT imagine where she has seen that move, but it was hysterical that she challenged those big boys like that.  She had THE BEST time and talked about beating up boys for days!

On to Juliana - we were in the car and she had worn some cool GAP skinny jeans to town, but we played at McDonalds and apparently had torn a little on the knee.  Eliza pointed out the tear to Juliana and at first she was upset - "Mommmm!  My jeans are torn on the knee!" I told her it was no big deal, that we would just throw them away, since they were hand-me-downs anyway.  There was a long pause and she says, "Can we keep them?  I look COOL with ripped jeans!!!"  She cracks me up.  She is definitely my rock-star dresser.  She likes an edgier style than the others.  Anna Claire is my Pretty-Girl Tomboy - she wants to be pretty but it to be functional, so she can be active.  Eliza is my princess.  A dress all the time - and the fancier the better!  Juliana likes ripped jeans (we just found out!) and rhinestones and black, and tank tops.  She's definitely got a different fashion style, but she rocks it!

The girls started school last Wednesday and had a great day!  Both of them enjoyed meeting their teachers and Juliana loved seeing her friends.  All her classmates from last year came back except for one boy whose parents are divorced and the single mom couldn't pay for BCA alone.  :-(

Eliza has some artwork up on the wall already - a picture they were supposed to draw of themselves, and if I do say so, she's by FAR the best artist in the class.  Some kiddos just scribbled, but not eliza!

Isabella was 23 lbs 5 oz of holy terror to Dr. Williams today. She didn’t want her ears checked, belly pressed, eyes checked, heartbeat listened to - and she let it be known.....loudly. #soembarrassing

Eliza is SUCH a gigglebox. When she turns it on it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to calm her down. Especially hard since her giggle is so cute and infectious! We were watching shrek and she got started and we couldn’t hear the movie.....I asked Juliana—-“how do you make her be quiet when she gets like this?” She replied TOTALLY DEADPAN: “I hit her.” I thought I misheard so I said, “huh?” She said, “yeah. I slap her.” I was stunned! Then she says, “I’m just kidding. I just leave her alone until she gets calm.” She is so funny in her own quirky way!!

Eliza needed to kill a fly in the house, so she asked for the “pink thing” “I need to mack it! We gotta mack the fly so it will be dead!”

Juliana cut her finger rather badly last night. We cleaned it up and settled her for the night. Well this morning andy was fussing at me when he saw it sleeping a bit of blood and it looked horrible. Juliana didn’t like him irrittted with me and she said in my defense, “Daddy, Mama took really good care of me—-she put a bandaid on my finger and gave me chocolate milk!!” HILARIOUS!!! She may have been bleeding to death but I gave her chocolate milk!!  What a sweet girl!! :-)

Eliza was looking in her baby book today and saw some pictures of herself as a very tiny baby.  She said, "Daddy, look - it's me as a baby when I was bald like you!!"

Anna claire trying to share her world with Eliza: Anna Claire says, “come on Eliza, I have something to show you.” (Eliza comes along happily as they walk through the hallway) Anna Claire says “do you like Pharoahs?” Eliza says, “pharaohs? what are pharaohs?” And before Anna Claire has a chance to answer she says “yes I like Pharoahs!”

Anna Claire cooked her own eggs today—without any help or guidance from me at all. Very proud of her. :-) she was pretty proud of herself too!

Juliana said that she didnt want to get married and move away—-she said that she was going to get married and then they would live with us, that way daddy would have a boy to play basketball with!

Isabella absolutely loves green beans! Like, she will pass by french fries any day or mac & cheese, and grab the green beans instead!

She is talking up a storm also, saying the words every day. Many times she won’t see them again though, so it’s like teasing us a little! She said sissy last Thursday, Grammy yesterday and Anna this morning.

Well Juliana just decided to play hair salon apparently she was going to just “chop the dead ends off.”  Well, looks like we will be heading to get it fixed tomorrow. Ugh, 🙄 it’s not awful but it sure is annoying.

Crazy kiddos.

Anna Claire is so ditzy/silly/distracted most of the time.  She was wanting to write on a five foot long "staff" (Stick) that she found outside - (Apparently it was the Staff of Sarah the Mage - go figure....) anyway, she finished writing with her Sharpie and I told her to make sure to put the lid on it and she starts freaking out and can't find the lid anywhere.......yeah, it was in her left fist the whole time.  HILARIOUS.  She was funny-embarrassed - it was good stuff. :-)

Eliza loves deviled eggs.  She called PawPaw today to tell him, "haha, I have deviled eggs and you don't!"  The other girls won't touch them, but at least Eliza will!  (Which is surprising, because normally Juliana is my most adventurous eater.)

Isabella is growing and B-U-S-Y.  I say she is the busiest yet, but Andy says I've just forgotten how busy the others were.  She desperately needs a haircut.  She babbles all the time.  I think she is genuinely saying words, but I can only be certain of Mama, Dada, Bye, and HEY (her current favorite).  She detests to sit still in a carseat/highchair, etc.  But she loves to smile and be coy.  She loves Juliana and they seem to have a special bond.  She likes all of her sisters though, but Anna Claire tends to be too busy to deal with her most of the time, and Eliza gets mad when she messes with her toys!

Anna Claire is practicing her bible verses for Bible Drills and she was working on Leviticus 22:30 - "You are to keep my Commands and do them.  I am Yahweh." Instead she says "You are to keep my commands and do them.  I am Yee-Ha."  She didn't know why I cracked up!!  Hilarious!

I say to Eliza—“Eliza, here’s your vegetable soup for dinner.” She says, “But Mom, I can’t eat that weally well.” I reply, “Well, if you DO eat well, then I have peanut butter cake for dessert.” She says, “I CAN eat THAT vewy well!” (As in, instead of soup!)

Juliana LOVES her trampoline. I keep trying to figure out a way to put her in gymnastics without the other girls. Haha!

And Isabella loves Sprite! As much as we try to keep her away from the girls cups, she is a cup ninja and steals them every chance she gets!

Juliana heard Nani was sick and immediately said “Can I call to check on her?” She is so thoughtful (most is the time). I do believe she has a caregiving nature. Thankful for it!
