Juliana is absolutely loving karate - and she is excelling!  Monday night at the dojo, at the end of class, the fifteen or so students lined up to bow out.  Sensei said, Attention Stance, everyone." Then he asked what "attention stance" was in Japanese. (This is one of the basic words.)  Nobody answered at all.  He asked again and then fussed at them all when nobody answered again - he was about to make the class do pushups and I saw Juliana's hand raise and she said, "Musubidachi?" (sp?) and Sensei was so happy!  He told all those big green and blue belt boys that Juliana, the tiniest and only girl, saved them all from pushups!  She doesn't like to get out in front of a crowd, but his public praise made her night.  She was just beaming!  So proud of our little Mighty Mosquito!  Now we work toward her first tournament in September!

Went to the mall last night to get a few new shirts for Andy from Belk, and we walked in the mall afterwards just to kill time.  Andy noticed that Victoria Secret had moved locations to the mall center, next to the area where Santa sits at Christmas.  I was slightly annoyed becuase their models on display were even MORE scantily clad than usual - with one mannequin having only a strappy thong on with fancy sheer accents -- VERY seductive.  I was aggravated that that display would face the main mall area where all kids, boys, etc. see it and I had just commented the same to Andy when I heard Juliana whisper to Eliza, "Liza, I dare you to go KISS THAT BUTT!!!" with a mischievous giggle!!  That's the innocence of a rotten child for you! Haha!!
