Considering I haven't written the first line since November, it could indicate that I've been very lazy (true), very busy (true) or away from the computer (not true). Well, on December 23rd, I got up for work - just like normal - and I thought, "well, my period is five days late - I'll take a pregnancy test just in case." This wasn't unusual - I kept pregnancy tests around, but since we'd been off birth control for a year, I had no expectation of anything. Well, the results were nearly immediate - a PLUS. WHAT?! I immediately went to Andy and woke him up and asked him, "Do you think this means what I think it means?" Needless to say, he didn't go back to sleep! :D
I am now 19 weeks along, and anticipating our ultrasound appointment on Friday to determine gender (hopefully)! As of right now, we are considering Aiden Scott Hunter for a boy's name and Aria Joy Hunter for a little girl. Everyone is saying we are having a boy, but I figure they are just guessing. I have no idea whether it's a boy or a girl, and really we don't care as long as the baby is healthy and whole.
We feel very blessed - what an awesome responsibility! To think that God entrusts us with a soul, to train them to grow up to know and love Him. Wow.
