11-12-17

Always something new and cute to report.  Not saying that life with four littles doesn't present challenges, because it certainly does, but I'd rather let time erase those particular memories for the most part and focus on the sweet and special moments that are ever-present as well!

Thursday night the girls got to walk in their first parade ever!  They walked in the Enterprise Veterans' Day Parade with their Frontier Girls troop and were SO EXCITED!  I think Juliana especially was the MOST PUMPED!  They were ready to leave the house by 3:30 even though the parade didn't start until 6.   They enjoyed the experience, I believe, and were all smiles when I picked them up at the end of the parade route, but Eliza made sure I knew that her "wegs got tired."  She's such a pampered little princess!  I think she ultimately turned on the charm and got one of the mommas that walked in the parade to carry her the last little bit.

After the parade we went to a little local joint in Enterprise called Fatboys - a burger/wings kind of place.  They had coloring books and board games available, and Andy and I played checkers, which I hate because I TOTALLY STINK AT IT.  I couldn't see a play coming if it had neon lights pulsating on the board.  Ugh!  Andy ordered fried pickles with his dinner (YUCK!), and Anna Claire absolutely LOVED THEM.  She said, "We have to come here again!!!  This is even better than MCDONALDS!!" (As though that's the height of culinary delight.....which I suppose for her it is! LOL!)
